Welcome to Woodlawn Heritage Group Website. We have joined a network of local community groups and are honoured to be part of this Galway Community Website and iCAN project. This website is created and maintained by a group of volunteers assisted by participants with Woodlawn Heritage Group Community Employment Scheme. We are always interested in welcoming new volunteers – so if you would like to help please contact us.
This community archive website has been developed through our Woodlawn Heritage Group membership of the Irish Community Archive Network (iCAN), an initiative of the National Museum of Ireland delivered in partnership with the Heritage Council, Galway County Council Heritage Office, and communities across Ireland.
