Biodiversity Week 2018
Walk in Woodlawn Woods
B. Doherty
The sun shone and brought Woodlawn Woods to life on Saturday 19th May 2018. Janice Fuller and Catherine Seale led a group along our family friendly Nature Trail. Woodlawn flora played host to fluttering butterflies which came out in abundance in the early summer sunshine. The cuckoo was identified amongst the many other birds in song that morning. Crab apple, wild strawberries and redcurrants were identified along the trail. Lesser known wood sorrel was tasted. If you have any pictures please share with us so we can keep an update of all the wildlife in Woodlawn.
