Raven
Fiach Dubh
Catherine Seale
The Raven is the largest member of the crow family in Ireland. It has purply black plumage, powerful bill and shaggy throat. If they fly above you, take note of their wings which have finger like ends. It is quiet common to hear a raven as you walk through Woodlawn Woods. This call is a loud ‘proack’ call.
