  • Wondering if anyone knows the year this photo was taken? My great grandad Patrick Cusker was assistant gamekeeper here. He lived out the rest of his days as head gamekeeper in Carton House. I would love to know if he is in this photo!

    – father of James Muarry & Walter William below.
    James Murray Graham (25) Under gamekeeper
    – James Murray Graham married Fanny (Frances Mary) Cudd (nurse at Woodlawn) in 1902 and went to work in Ballymacarbry, Co. Waterford before moving to Canada in 1912. James died in 1926 and Fanny in 1941.
    Walter William Graham (17) Under gamekeeper
    Benjamin John Stanley (23) Under gamekeeper known as John at Woodlawn
    – by 1911 Benjamin had moved to Scaragh Woods, Kilcommon, Cahir, Co. Tipperary and by 1916 had moved to Dungannon, Co. Fermanagh.
    Benjamin Hopley (23) Under gamekeeper
    – brother of John Robert below
    John Robert Hopley (22) Under gamekeeper
    – by 1911 had moved to Ballywalter, Co. Down, got married in Canada in 1918.
    George Pritchard (24) Under gamekeeper
    – by 1911 had moved to Tara, Co. Meath.

    – moved to Croft Castle, Herefordshire by 1915 when enlisted in the army in and fought in WW1, after war went to work in Clitheroe, Lancashire, died there in 1975.
