Engraved Watch gifted from Lord & Lady Ashtown

My Great Uncle Albert Stephen Brown, Gloucestershire regiment was given this watch from Lord & Lady Ashtown. The engraving reads:
Rifleman A S Brown in Memory of
Lieut The Hon F S Trench KRRC
Died 16th Nov 1916
From Lord and Lady Ashtown
My grandfather told me when he gave me the watch that Albert helped carry Frederic back behind the line for medical help.

I attach a picture of the watch and a picture taken in Cardiff of Albert winning the army cup with his brothers.

Kevin forwarded us this information after reading this post on Lieutenant Hon. Frederic Sydney Trench.
